Condolences to the Dynes family at this time. Jim was a well respected genuine man who always had time for a yarn and always had smoko with the boys. It was pleasure to have known you and worked for you for 6 and a half years under the Dynes Transport umbrella. You will never be forgotten

Well Jim remember the old days 60s 70s when wood chips were starting up? log books, and Hubometers were all the go,you handled it with ease.
You took it all in your stride and were good to deal with.
Rest in peace Jim.

Biggest of hugs to you all! So many memories of Jim and you all with our family. Charlie and Jim can talk trucks all they like now. Seeing a Dynes truck up here in the Waikato is always the best for me. Reminds me of you guys and of home. RIP Jim

To The Extended Dynes Family - My condolences to you all on behalf of The Revie Family of Crookston. Your Family and my Family travelled to sports tournaments in Millers Flat and Alexandra together - on some really cold days and on a regular basis - transporting many team mates whose families did not have a vehicle. It was a life long bonding which we shared. My brother Duncan and sisters Nola and Shona (deceased nearly 4 years ago at 60 years of age in Queensland), all remember your family. It seems fitting that we are experiencing a cold spell of weather when James is now at peace. We do admire what your family has done for the transport industry in New Zealand. I live on the outskirts of Levin where when often I see a Dynes big rig and say 'hello'. Best Wishes to You All at this time of sorrow. Fond memories from Susan (nee Revie, Power)McPherson.
