James BONNAR Obituary

On February 5, 2025, peacefully, at Ranui Home and Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. Dearly loved and devoted husband of Gaynor for 60 years, dearly loved and respected father and father-in-law of Marie and Greg, James and Sophia, and Stephen and Melissa, loved and cherished grandad of Emily and Wyatt, Andrew Shaw; Josh, and Erin Bonnar; Danielle, and Marcus Bonnar. A true gentleman.

R.I.P

A Mass will be held in Mary Immaculate and The Irish Martyrs Catholic Church, 5 Sligo Street, Cromwell, at 10.00am, on Monday February 10, followed by private burial. Livestream at www.affinityfunerals.nz. A Rosary will be celebrated at 7.00pm on Sunday February 9 in the church. In lieu of flowers donations to the St Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to 15 Blyth Street, Clyde 9330.

We are saddened to hear of Wee Jim´s passing. I have so many fond memories of Jim coming to Ireland all the way from NZ over the years. Deepest condolences to Gaynor, Marie and all the family. Thinking of you all at this difficult time. Jim will always have a special place in our hearts.
