JONES, Isla Agnes:
Passed away peacefully on September 10, 2021 at Green Gables Rest Home, Nelson, aged 96. Loved wife of the late Arnie Jones. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Rodney and Anne; Glen and Chris Carswell; Bruce and Christine. Dearly loved grandma to Richard, Damian and Sarah; Mark and Tim; Andrew, Philippa, Matthew and Stephanie, and loved by all her great-grandchildren. A loved sister to the late Elva, George, and the late Rayma. Messages to 5 Charlotte Street, The Brook, Nelson 7010. A celebration of Isla's life will be held at Beachside Conference Centre, Beach Road, Tahunanui, on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 2.00pm. Livestreaming link available.

Have just shed tears and had a good laugh at the photos, they are classically Auntie Isla, kicking up her heels and having a laugh. Sorry I can't be with you tomorrow, but you will be in my thoughts.

Sorry to hear the passing of our dear friend and neighbour Isla. She was just a wonderful and warm lady always positive a great ambassador for the family will be sadly missed , Wally Olykan

It was with great sadness that I heard of the passing of a wonderful person. Isla always had a twinkle in her eye and great story to tell. When ever I shared time with her along with members of her loving family will never be forgotten My greatest condolences to you all.
