Peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Southland Hospital, aged 87 years, surrounded by family and cared for by a brilliant team of nurses and doctors. Devoted and adored wife and best friend of Allan* for a wonderful 60 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Karen and Simon Welson, David and Lou, Graham and Di. Treasured Nana and Nanabel of Jo and Flynn, Matt and Alice, Emma, Jon and Aurora, and Tenielle. Proud great-Nanabel of Adeline Milne. Cherished foster mother of Jan. Dear sister-in-law of Helen, and Thelma*. Special aunt and friend to many. Deeply connected to her Otautau community. A service to celebrate Isabel's life will be held at Otautau Connect, 134 Main Street, Otautau, on Thursday, October 16 at 1.00pm. Interment to follow at Otautau Cemetery.
