Irene BARNES Obituary
At Manapouri on Sunday, March 8, 2026, aged 87. Dearly loved wife of Clifford Henry Barnes for 70 years. Loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Rosslyn and Stewart Cull, the late Robert, Debbie and the late John Rangi, the late Craig and Gaylene, Geoff and Denisa, Leith and Daryl Olsen. Dearly loved and proud Nan of her 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to acknowledge Noel and Sue Walker for their endless support throughout, also Aleshia and Bernie for their kind and gentle caring of Irene, our family are forever grateful. A celebration of Irene's life will be held at the Te Anau Events Centre, Luxmore Drive, on Wednesday, March 11 at 2.00pm. As per Irene's wishes garden flowers only also donations towards The Te Anau Primary School Library or Te Anau Scout Group can be left at the service. Please wear your "Happy Colours"
