Ian SINCLAIR Obituary

Unexpectedly, but peacefully, on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Ascot Bupa, Invercargill, aged 87. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Mark and Sue (Australia), Kerry and Kevin O'Connor. Loved Grandad to Abby and Mike, Bjorn and Todd, Richard, Guy and Sarah, Jordan and Emma, Quinn and Kirby. Loved Great-Grandad to Maddi and Thomas, Kero, Bella, Ada, Meg, Sonny, Sloane and Savvy. Loved son of the late John and Edith Sinclair (Nightcaps). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Brian, Graeme* and Doreen, Keith* and Joan, Neil and Margaret, Ruth* and Mack*, Bruce* and Lynette, Judy and Dave*, Donald and Phillipa. A loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A dear friend to Margaret Sinclair. A long and dear friend to Jon Spraggon (Stewart Island). A dear friend to Sandy Sinclair (Australia). A special friend to Stewart Island. Dearly loved friend to Lorna Hitchcock* and her family - Karen, Lyn, Shayne and Dale Boy, Hayley and Leon Eruera (Australia). The family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Ascot Bupa, Leah Brown, and Olivia Fraser for the care shown to Ian. A service to celebrate Ian's life will be held at the Invercargill Crematorium on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 11.00am.
