It is with extreme sadness that the family of Ian announce his peaceful passing at Southland Hospital on Friday, September 7, 2018. Dearly loved husband of Dorelle, and loved son of Winnie* (Winifred) and Dugald* Johnstone. Treasured Dad and father-in-law of Brenda*, Rayoni and Tony Lee, and Anita. Very special Grandad of Anna, Robbie, Shandice, and Lily-Ana and their partners Demi, Anna, and Sam. Loved Great-Grandfather of Haylee, Nico, and Sydney. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Melva Johnstone, Rex and Jill Johnstone, Bill* and Jenny Johnstone, and June and Hugh Barwick. Also, brother-in-law of Ken* Boyle, Verna and Angus* Wilson, Lorraine and Graham Murphy, and Marilyn and Jeff Alderson. Loved Uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Funeral to be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Wednesday, September 12, at 2.00pm. Messages to 93 Jed Street, Invercargill. Flowers respectfully declined.
