Ian JOHNSTON Obituary

Ian passed away peacefully at Timaru Hospital, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Much loved husband of Rosemary for 72 years, loved father and father-in-law of Gary and Debbie, and Jeannie. Much loved grandpa of Debbie, Paul and Shelley, Rachel, Jeffrey and Stacie, Bridget and Justin, Daniel, and Alex. Adored great-grandpa of his 11 great-grandchildren. Son of the late Charles and Catherine Johnston of "Bonnyrigg Farm", St. Andrews. Brother to Estelle, and Melva (both dec). Uncle Ian to his many nieces and nephews. In accordance with Ian's wishes, a private family service to celebrate his 96 years has been held. A special thank you to all the staff and Ian's friends at Strathallan, along with the Surgical Ward staff at Timaru Hospital.
