Ian BURNS Obituary

BURNS, Ian Bruce:
Passed away peacefully at Archer Rest Home, Christchurch, on December 16, 2021. Adored husband for 68 years of the much missed Isla, and loved brother and brother-in-law to Alan, the late Stewart, Margaret, Mary and Wilma. Cherished father to the late Ian, Geoff, Murray (Australia) and Lynda. Deeply loved grandfather to Jade, Hannah, Claire, Michael and Sylvia, and great-grandfather to Aurora, Tane, Millie, Banner and Flynn. Loved by the close whanau of Jill, Peter, Dawn, Tav and Ange, and all his nieces and nephews The family wishes to thank all the staff and volunteers at Archer Village and Rest Home who cared for Bruce with great professionalism and genuine love. Bruce will be buried in Yaldhurst Cemetery at a private committal. A memorial service will follow in the New Year.
