Hugh COWIE Obituary

Formerly of Waikawa Valley. Peacefully at Resthaven, Gore, on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, aged 93 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Ada. Much loved father and father-in-law of Martin and Rona (Quarry Hills), Kirsty and John Cook (Christchurch), Gill and Graeme Harris (Timaru), Andrew Cowie and Maree Bailey (Perth). Loved Grandad of Neil, and Hazel Cowie, Stella Cook, and Sara Harris. Thank you to the staff of Resthaven and Cargill Lifecare, for their kind care and support. A service for Hugh will be held at J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, on Wednesday, November 26, at 11.30am, followed by a burial at Waikawa Cemetery, arriving approximately 3.30pm.
