GRAY, Hon. Sir Robert
McDowall (Sir Robin):
Born in Borgue, Scotland, passed away, peacefully, at home in Mosgiel, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, April 2, 2022; in his 91st year. Devoted and loving husband of the late Mary, admired and much loved father and father-in-law of Linda and Clive Wallis (Mosgiel), Shona and Alan Buckner (Arrowtown), and Andrew and Kelley Gray (Waitahuna), adored Granddad of Scott and Lisa, Rachel and John-Mark, Lauren and Kade, Michelle and Dan, Olivia and Justin, Alex and Annie, Jessica, and Melissa and his six great-grandsons. A grateful thanks to Dr Ben Hayward (Mosgiel) and the Oncology Department (Dunedin). A service for Sir Robin will be held in Mosgiel Prebyterian Church and the adjoining McKerrow Lounge, 11 Church Street, Mosgiel, at 1.30pm, on Friday, April 8. Under current restrictions numbers will be limited to 200 in each venue.
