Peacefully on October 23, 2025, in his 88th year. Loving and devoted husband of Jennifer for 62 years. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Pete and Sue, Bruce and Larissa. Proud Grandad of Emma and Dan, Ella and Chez, Robert, Phillip and Sam. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Melva and Colin* Young, Moira* and Herb*, Aileen and Allen, Ken*, Roger and Margaret, Karen and John*. Respected uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Bert will be held at 11.00am on Thursday, October 30, at J Fraser and Son's, corner of Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, followed by interment at the East Winton Cemetery, arrival time of 2.00pm.
