Henry CLEAVER Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Henry at his home, in Riverton, on Sunday, May 18, 2025, on his 84th birthday. Dearly loved husband of Shirley for 62 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of David and Tania, Suzie and Paul Harrington, Bruce and Jasmine. Much loved by all his grandchildren, Nicholas, Benjamin, Brydon, Maggie and William, Bailley, Sofia, and Henry. Dearly loved son of Thomas James (Johnson)* and Margaret Babington Cleaver*. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Jimmy* and Noeline, Rowena* and Kenny Tomlin, David*, Ian*, Lois and Kevin Mulqueen, Norman*, Donnah and Betty*. Arthur*, Allan* and Linda* Gorton, Robin and David Frew, Colleen* Ewen and Irene Mathieson, Maurice and Kathleen Gorton. Much loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a service to celebrate Henry's life at the Colac Bay Hall on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11.00am, followed by interment at Riverton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. John Ambulance would be appreciated. Another sad day for the Cleaver families and the Riverton No15 jersey. A working life dedicated to Makarewa Freezing Works and getting a large chunk of Riverton and Colac Bay to work every day. Never a bad day and never missed a conversion (from straight in front). RIP Henry.
