Born April 17, 1933, Middelharnis, Nederland. On August 6, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family. Precious husband and best friend of the late Marion van Buren (nee Clearwater). Treasured Dad and father-in-law of Jane and Simon Bardon (Invercargill), Diana (Invercargill) and the late Robert Lantz, John and Carolyn (Australia), Anthony and Bettina (Denmark). Dearly beloved Grandad of Emma and Jason, John and Nikita, Frances, Zachariah, Amanda and John. Dearly beloved Farfar of Johan and Kaiya, David, Romy and Aaron; Special Opa of Eli and Hannah, Thea and Ezra, Ella and Canon. Beloved son of the late Johan and Arendje van Buren and brother of the late Heleen Wielaard. A celebration of Henk's life will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 10.30am, in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. A private cremation will follow.
