Helen WATSON Obituary

Musical Mother of Many
21.8.1930 - 23.1.2025

Helen's nephews and nieces and their extended families are grateful for the support, love, messages, phone calls, flowers, thoughts expressed and attendance at her service. Thank you to her friends, associates and ex-pupils for the visits made to her at both the Southland Hospital and Rowena Jackson Retirement Village. Our sincere thanks to the staff at Rowena Jackson for Helen's and our care. We very much appreciate the help, given by Peter, Dawn, Leah, Hamish and St Stephens Church members, to fulfill Helen's final wishes. Helen would have been humbled by the Guard of Honour by the Southland Women's Club and the St John Fellowship members. Please accept this as our personal acknowledgement to you all.

Very sorry to learn of Helen's death. As a past minister of St Stephens, I completed quite a number of weddings, funerals and worship services with Helen. Then she became my neighbour at Rowena Jackson for a time. Lachie and Helen were a lovely couple. I thank GOD for their support in my ministry at St. Stephens

Sincere condolences on the loss of your precious Helen. She was a most remarkable lady. It was a pleasure getting to know her as part of the St Stephens Church community and through her musical endeavours. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
