WOODS, Hector Derrick (Hec) of Tuatapere, 655803, Pvte, 2NZEF, J Force 1939-45. - Of Tuatapere. Peacefully, at Longwood lifestyle Village, Riverton, on Friday 14 December 2012; aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of Joyce, loved father and father-in-law of Hec and Janice (Ingill), Janice and Trevor Campbell (Tuatapere), also a loved Grandad of Garth and Stacey, Blair and Livia, and proud great-Grandad of Livia, Sophie, Riley, Jake and Phoebe. A graveside service for Hec will be held at the Tuatapere Cemetery, on Monday, 17 December at 2pm, followed by a time for sharing memories at the Waiau Town and Country Club.
