Hazel STEWART Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved matriach, who departed this life suddenly on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in her 91st year. Cherished wife to Clifford from Wyndham, she leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She was a devoted mother and mother-in-law to Lynton and Heather Carr, Geoffrey and Gillian Stewart, Lewis and Allison Jackson, Lynley Double, Warren Stewart, Carole Martin, and David and Denise McKay. Her warmth touched the hearts of many. Hazel was the proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to 22 great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her memories with them. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Dulcie* and Ray* Cunningham, Wilson* and Gay Heaps, Grace and Ray* Johnstone, and David Heaps. Her family have held a private gathering to celebrate in accordance with Hazel's wishes.

She will be missed deeply and remembered always.

Messages for the Stewart Family can be sent to PO Box 632, Invercargill 9840 or on Hazel's tribute page mwfunerals.co.nz/s/hazel
