CLOVERDALE – Harold C. Kahle, 68, of Cloverdale, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, at his residence. He was born June 9, 1957, in Lima to the late Leon and Lou Ann (Webken) Kahle.

He is survived by nine siblings, Daniel Kahle of Kalida, Marcia (Bill Cornett) Kahle of KY, Joseph (Charlene) Kahle of Zanesville, Bernard (Pam) Kahle of Cloverdale, Ruth (Rick) Peck of Kalida, Nick Kahle of Cloverdale, Teresa (Mark Gasser) Kahle, Rita (Dave) Schroeder and Earl Kahle, all of Kalida; nephew, Oliver Kahle of Cloverdale; many nieces and nephews; beloved friends, Blake (Sherray) Eickholt of Cloverdale; and beloved dog, Hank.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Theresa Kahle; and a brother-in-law, Chris Britsch.

Harold worked for an appraisal research company in Findlay and was a Perry Township Zoning Officer. He was also a former Putnam County Commissioner in the 1990's. Harold was a huge supporter of Cascade Park and Cloverdale Game Club. He really enjoyed the outdoors and nature, except for when it was cold outside. Harold loved Jesus and cooking, especially grilling out and making spicy deviled eggs for friends and family gatherings.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Cloverdale Pub at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township.

Memorial donations may be made to Cascade Park or Cloverdale Game Club.
