Mr McClure. Loved his cricket, young, quick witted and fun. Room 23 teacher and adored friend. Can't believe he is gone... one of the teacher I will never forget. One of those who could never be replaced. Gone too soon, I cannot express the shock and loss when i found out... Can't imagine the pain his wife and daughter feel.. I can remember him bringing her to school, we had a soft toy making competition that day, and she was such an adorable girl. He is sorely missed.

Dear MacClure family, I haven't seen 'Mr MacClure' since he taught me at Cobham. He was an amazing teacher and my time spent with him and my class mates in Room 23 is one of the fondest memories of my life. He was a lovely down to earth, genuine man and i'm guttered to hear of this loss. My thoughts are with you. Fiona

As I sit here in Battambang, Cambodia, at precisely this time in Christchurch, New Zealand, family, friends and colleagues of Hamish will be gathering to celebrate his life in the school gymnasium. I wish I could be amongst them.
As part of the Middleton Grange family for 14 years on staff, as well as knowing Hamish's parents, Liz and John, my heart is heavy at the realisation that Hamish has been taken from you all too soon. Yet, he is now with his Heavenly Father, whose loving arms are wide to welcome him to Eternity, as they are to embrace in His Everlasting Love all who are grieving at this time. My prayer is that the celebration service will indeed be the testimony that Hamish's family intend it to be. My condolences to you all.

Hamish was an amazing, kind caring man and an inspirational teacher. He always went above and beyond for the children. He shared his faith openly. I'm terribly sad today but also thankful that we have a God who is faithful and that Hamish is in heaven. Until we met again. To Rachel and his beautiful children my heartfelt sympathy, I will continue to uphold you all in my prayers.
