Old mate.

Goodbye old mate,
Wherever you may be, I hope you get to see,
The ducks fly low, Your vege garden grow,
The whitebait run, The setting of the sun,
Your lure sink, The whiskey glasses clink,
The stags roaring, all the while pouring,
The coast was your home and there you shall roam.
Rest in peace.

Hamish, We are glad our paths crossed. Really great the time you spent with my son Nick who was going through hard times and being able to share stories and make us all laugh at such tough times and with your family being just next door. A shame we didn't get to laugh again with you. Take care up in heaven and one day we shall all be able to share a drink and a laugh again. To Bev and Anna our thoughts are with you. You know where we are if you need us. Lots of Love the Marshall family (your old neighbours)

Hame, your smile was infectious. You were a bright star on our ward and your lollies were a trip down memory lane and very welcome. The memory of scoffing them at 0200 makes me smile. Your generosity at the staff curry night was amazing, and the wine was fabulous. I visited Okarito this year on a family South Island trip, and the lagoon was ethereal, magic and very very peaceful. Rest peacefully Hame. You are missed. PS Wish I could be there for the bonfire. A bright light for the brightest light xo
