O'CONNELL,
Gwendolyn Anne (Jenny):
Died March 14, 2021, at Kaikoura Hospital. Loved wife of the late Tom O'Connell. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Jenny and Kevin Fowler, and Sheryl and Laurence O'Connell. Adored Nanna of Kerilee, Jared, Lucas and Dean, special Granny of Sienna and Seth, and second mum to Joan Pankhurst. Jenny died peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Kaikoura Hospital, after 94 years of vital life. She remained sharp as a tack until her passing. As per her wishes, Jenny has been cremated in a private ceremony. Messages of sympathy can be sent to O'Connell Family, C/- 3 Shearwater Drive, Kaikoura 7300.

Hi Laurence and Jenny, sending my sympathy with the passing of Aunty Gwen. Have great memories of the fun times we all had together growing up in Invercargill. Just a few weeks since our own Mum passed away. Mum (Ailsa) always enjoyed Aunty Gwen's company. They were great mothers. Weren't we lucky. With kind regards, Yvonne McNeil (nee Dawson).
