Graham YEATES Obituary

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Ascot Bupa Hospital Care, Invercargill, on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Aged 87 years. Loved and loving husband of Maureen. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Mark and Kiri, Bronwyn and Charlie Paterson. Dearly loved Grandad of Jacob and Isaac Yeates, Hugh and Grace Paterson. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ruth and Clive* Williams, Doug* and Mavis Yeates, Mary and Rowland* Allott, Heather Robertson, Philip and Paula Watson, Doug and Beth* Watson. A dearly loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

"Promoted To Glory"

A service to celebrate Graham's life will be held in the Salvation Army Church, 29 Victoria Avenue, Invercargill, on Wednesday, September 18, at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be gratefully accepted and may be left at the service. Messages can be sent to Yeates Family, 240 McQuarrie Street, Invercargill, or to Graham's tribute page at frasersfunerals.co.nz/tributes where a livestream link of the service will also be available.

Deepest sympathy to you Maureen and all Grahams family, Also Ruth and Mary and all the other families.
It's the old memories of the 1950's and the BlackBerry picking around Wilks road Tokanui farm that come to mind, what a joy it was to meet the Yeates family in those days, and share a meal by 'Tilley' light as electricity had yet to arrive at the homestead, those were the warm memories that have stayed, wonderfull family ones.

We appreciated getting to know Graham briefly during a New Years Event. Maureen has been a lovely person to see at CAMEO too and Bronny and Charlies family are the best neighbors anyone could ever have! Our prayers are for peace to wrap around the family at this time.
