Gordon HIRD Obituary

Born March 18, 1934, Bradford, Yorkshire, England. Passed away peacefully at Leslie Groves Hospital, Dunedin, after a short illness. Dearly loved husband of Merlita, cherished and much-loved father and father-in-law of Karen and Jim White (England), Jackie and Mick Fowler (Australia), Gordon and Janice Hird, Janet Hamlin (Invercargill). Loving brother and brother-in-law of Margaret and the late Ron Leebetter, Hazel and Mick McGrath, Wilfred and Pauline Hird (all England), Arlene, Fred, Haydee and siblings (Philippines and America). A Loved grandad and great-grandad. We will love and miss you always. A service will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, 11.00am, at the Southland Crematorium.
