Gladys McGIBBON Obituary

On March 8, 2025, at Windsor Park Care Home, Gore with loving family at her side; aged 93 years. Adored wife of Sam*, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Catherine and Brian* Borthwick, Susan and Barry Stevenson, Fiona and Peter Hayward, Lynda and Tony Oliver, cherished Nana of Jeremy, and Aaron Borthwick; Jamie, and Gemma Stevenson; Nathan, and Ben Hayward; loved Nana Gibbon of all her great and great-great-grandchildren, and a dear special friend of Chris Dillon. A service to celebrate Glady's life will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 1.30pm in the Gore RSA Function Lounge, 12 Bowler Ave, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Southland Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at her service. Messages to 1 Nelson Street, Gore 9710. (*denotes deceased).

I loved that you were my neighbor for nearly 20 years, I loved arriving home to find a bag of veggies left on my driveway by you. I lived our chats when you were in your garden. A beautiful soul. My condolences to the family of Mrs McGibbon.
