I was really sorry to hear of Gillian's passing. Although we worked together a long time ago now (at Christchurch City Council), I have always kept tabs of what Gillian was up to, and enjoyed our infrequent catch ups. I particularly enjoyed Gillian's wit and intelligence, and always respected her professionalism and tenacity as a planner.

My sympathy and best wishes to her family.

I was shocked to hear of Gillian's death.

We worked with her on a large number of consent applications through the Ashburton District Council and she was always a very fair and competent planner.

Myself and colleagues were very disappointed when she left the employ of the Ashburton District Council, she really was a very special person with a good sense of humour, strong character and a real sense of fairness.

Can we please offer our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.

So shocked to hear of Gillian's unexpected passing. Despite being such a private person she had a lot of friends and loved her many dogs. I worked with her at Selwyn District Council and again at Ashburton District Council. Gillian was well respectedby colleagues and her contacts throughout NZ.

She as a personal friend will be missed, her dry wit and intelligent sarcasm made her a delight to be in the company of.

Sympathies to her family at this sad time.
