Gerry passed suddenly in his sleep, at his home in Rolleston, on Thursday morning, aged 51 years. Loved youngest son of Allan and Carol Davis (deceased), (Invercargill), brother and brother-in-law of Gary and Rose (Invercargill), and Emmett and Stacey (Perth), and uncle to his nieces and nephews. Gerry was a proud father and is survived by his son Eddie (Christchurch). Soulmate of Jeanette, and stepdad to Camille (deceased), and Charles. Gerry will be missed by his large extended whānau. A celebration of Gerry's life will be held in our Oaklands Chapel, corner of Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, Christchurch, on Friday, November 29, at 10.30am.

Great cricket memories with Gerald way back. Great team man with a cheeky smile and a twinkle in his eye. Always a barrel of fun to be around. Condolences to all family and whanau. A lovely guy.

I have many fond memories of Gerry from working at Molly O´Gradys at the Kelvin Hotel in Invercargill.
