George STEWART Obituary

(Formerly of Zimbabwe). Aged 81 years, peacefully at Vickery Court on March 5, 2024, went to heaven to be with Jesus where there is no Motor Neurone Disease. Precious husband of Violet, loved brother of the late Ishbel (died age 13 years), loved brother-in-law of Russell and Robyn Dunn and the late Gordon Dunn. Loved uncle of Sarah, Anna and Chris, Lizzie and Jason, Tim and Hannah, and their children. Loved cousin of Robert Herron, Ann and Blair Donkin, John Herron, David and Helen Herron. Thanks to the staff of Vickery Court Rest Home for their wonderful care of George. A celebration of George's life will be held in Windsor Community Church, Windsor Street, Invercargill, on Friday, March 8 at 1.30pm, followed by interment at Eastern Cemetery.
