George CLARKE Obituary

Passed away peacefully after a long illness in the loving care of Clare House, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, surrounded by family; in his 84th year. Loved partner of Stephanie, loved father and father-in-law of Tony and Bryony, Jacqui and Tony, Grant, and Aaron.
Loved grandfather of Leigh, Olivia, Jared, and Ava. Treasured friend of Maureen and Trevor. Cherished by wider family and friends.
A dedicated follower over the years of his sporting passions. Special thanks to Clare House for their love and support on our family journey. As per George's wishes a Memorial Service will be held at the 2NZEF Club, Don St, Invercargill, on Friday, October 17 at 1.00pm. Feel free to wear something red to the service. Messages to 39 Maitland St, Invercargill 9812.

To all George's immediate family my condolences of the passing of George. May he be at Peace.
I remember my cousin as always a character and have fond memories from my childhood but one that stands out is by the shed at the front at Kitty and Alf's... where Dad, Alf and George sometimes had a flagon ... I was just a wee girl, George been my older cousin by 18 years. He'll be missed.
