Passed away at home on Friday, 9 February9, 2024. Loved dad of Tori and Rohan Hurst, and Brendan Batt, and favourite child Dylan (nephew). Loved Grandad of Madelene. Former partner of Rachael. Loved son of the late Jackie and Russell Batt (Mataura). A loved brother and Uncle.

Geoff,
What can I say man. Not a day has or will go by where you wernt loved, thought of or spoken about. So many people were there in your corner cheering you on from the sidelines i just wish you'd won the fight to see it. You were meant to be here to laugh with me, rip on about all the ailments of getting old and eventually joke about the covert. Who will knock on my door now (other then the courier you were the only one lol). Thank you for the time I got with you. Thank you for the memories we made and thank you for your beautiful kiddies. I'll continue to look out for them, maybe boss them round when needed and remind them and your beautiful grandaughter just how much you loved them
