Genice Phillipa (nee Drake):
Of Alexandra, passed away at Christchurch Hospital after a courageous battle, on Monday, December 27, 2021, aged 77. Dearly loved wife of Lin, amazing mum and mother-in-law of Rachel; Sarah and John; Jeremy and Sarah; and Richard and Cate. Supercool Nan to Olivia and George; Luca and Sophia; the late Tim, Ben and Angus; and James, Oscar and Zoe. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Sandra and Graham; Glenda and Rex; Carolyn and Brendan; Sue and Bruce; Mike and Liz; and Jan and Jon. A very loved Auntie of all her nieces and nephews. A service for Genice will be held at Affinity Funeral Home, 143 Centennial Avenue, Alexandra, on Thursday, January 6, at 1.00pm, followed by a private interment. As per Covid 19 requirements a vaccine pass will be required to attend.
