FARQUHARSON, Francis James (Frank):
Of Wanaka, passed away peacefully at home, on Friday, 16 September, 2016. Loving father and father-in-law of Debby and Marshall Deaker, Annie and Robert Tamepo, Janine and David Robertson, the late James Farquharson, Craig and Stephanie Still, Bron and John Dixon, Sharlene Jayne, Dave and Hannah Farquharson. Loving grandfather of the late Jeremy, Pete, Siobhan and Tom, Chiquita, Marisha, Natasha and Ryan, Shennay, Brianna, Jarrod, Deena, Mitchel and Beth. Loving great-grandfather of Allizay, Kereama, Tai, Mali, and Jayden. Loved son of the late Nan (Annie), and Jim Farquharson. Brother and brother-in-law of Betty and the late Doug Cleverley (Oamaru), Ethel and Colin Gray (Lower Hutt), Ella and Phil Wilson (Queenstown), James (Jim), and Judy Farquharson (Queenstown), and half brother Peter Peterson (Christchurch). Much loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Special friend of Sue Cross. Special thanks to all the support teams from Dunstan Hospital, Access, Hospice, Food for Love, Wanaka Medical Centre, especially Dr Andrew McLeod, and the ongoing support of all Frank's dearest friends.
''Forever etched in our hearts''
A service for Frank will be held at the Wanaka Presbyterian Community Church Centre, Tenby Street, Wanaka, on Thursday, 22 September, at 2.00pm, followed by interment at the Wanaka Cemetery. Donations to the Friends of Dunstan Hospital are welcome and may be left at the service. Messages to 16 Rob Roy Lane, Wanaka 9305.
