I was very saddened to hear of your loss. Frances was a mentor to me in so many ways and was so very kind. She was instrumental in getting some significant changes happening at our small medical library using her super persuasive powers

Sincere condolences to Keith, Jo and Malcom and your families. I heard so much about you all when she worked at Southland Hospital. Frances was the best ever medical librarian we ever had at Southern Health. She revolutionized access for all health professionals both in hospital and in Primary care to on line databases. This in term improved clinical patient care, encouraged local research and encouraged both undergraduate and post graduate study across all disaplines. I believe we owe much to Frances for opening us up to the world of online data and access to latest medical information.
Unfortunately I didn't get an opportunity to farewell this highly professional lady when she left Southland. But Frances left her mark on many of us. Thank you Frances for being the amazing woman you are. I am certain your children and grandchildren will carry on your legacy. Rest in Peace friend, I just pray you have had the best care and a peaceful comfortable journey.
