Fisi'iahi TU'IPULOTU Obituary

Peacefully on Saturday 9 November 2024 at Te Hopai Home, Wellington, in her 84th year. Beloved member of the Sisters of Compassion for 56 years. Loved daughter of the late Mikaele and Ana Tu'ipulotu, and loved sister of her sisters and brothers 'Emeliano, Petelo, Tino, Fapiola, Elisapeta and Siale (all deceased); and Velonika, Sioape, Pakofe and Lupi. Much loved by her nieces, nephews, grandnephews and grandnieces.

May she Rest in Peace.

Thank you to the staff at Te Hopai Home, your loving care of Sister Cabrini was appreciated. A vigil will be held at Our Lady's Home of Compassion Chapel, 2 Rhine Street (off Murray Street), Island Bay, Wellington, on Monday 11 November, commencing at 2.00pm. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the same Chapel on Tuesday 12 November, commencing at 10.00am, followed by burial at Karori Cemetery. Sister Cabrini & I cared for each other as patient & GP for 20 years, maybe more. I will remember her as a gentle woman, musical & proud to be Tongan, not that I could ever call her proud; perhaps more 'honoured' to be Tongan.
