Esther LINDSAY Obituary

Formerly of Dipton and Winton. Peacefully at Waikiwi Gardens on Sunday, March 1, 2026, aged 95 years. Loved wife of the late Ross, mother and mother-in-law of Jenny and Murray Johns, John and Mary, Ann and Graham Cochran. Much admired Nana to grandkids, Nick and Juj, Katie*, Emma and Robbie, Aaron and Pru, Kirstie and Jed; Will and Erin, Nat and Ben, and Georgie. Great-Nana to Archie, Hughie and Alice; Theo; Annie and Charlie; Millie and Henry; Henry and Sadie. A private family graveside service is being held. Friends are invited to join us on Saturday, March 7, from 2.00pm – 5.30pm, at the Dipton Golf Club, to share memories. The family wish to especially thank the wonderful staff of Waikiwi Gardens for their dedicated care, love and support for Mum. Fond memories of a loved aunt, a wise intelligent women who was an inspiration as she lived her life grounded in her faith and has left a legacy by building a strong family. Esther was easy to be with she was interesting, fun warm and cared about about others especially her extended family.
