Errol HOLDEN Obituary
Peacefully, at Clutha Views Lifecare, Balclutha, on September 15, 2020. Aged 82 years. Loved husband of Marie, much-loved dad, father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad of Blake and Diana, Mitchell, and Alex; Jo and Fraser, Anna and Kaleb, Charlotte, Kate and Carl, and Jamie; Steve and Sharlene, Paige and Josh, Guy and Dana; Miles and Rebecca, Seth, and Shane. A service of farewell for Errol will be held on Tuesday, September 22 at 1.30pm, in the Waiwera South Hall, 3 Kaihiku Road, Waiwera South, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Balclutha St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at Errol's service. Messages C/- 7 Allan Street, Waiwera South 9584.

Errol wrote to me when I lost my son. It was a profound message of compassion and understanding that I kept by my side for a long time after as it gave me strength. I shall forever remember him for this kind act. Love to Maree, Miles and all the family.

Condolences to Marie and family. It seems an age since our move to Waiwera South where we met a friendly grocer who did home deliveries. It was always an education to shop when Vera and Errol were discussing how the business should be run. You were one great peacemaker Marie. Many happy memories of you all.
