Eileen Patricia Mary:
Eileen died peacefully at Parata Rest Home, Gore, on Sunday, March 20, 2022, in her 102nd year. Loved wife of the late Kevin (Digger), loved mother and mother-in-law of John and Marilyn, Michael and Ronnie (WA), Denis and Heather, Mary-Ann (Christchurch), Peter and Jenni (Invercargill), and cherished and much loved Nana Eil of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Ardwick Street, Gore, on Saturday, March 26 at 1.30pm, then leaving for Gore Cemetery, Crewe Street. Rosary in the Church on Friday at 7.00pm. Vaccine passes will be required please. She was once, twice three times a lady, and my Aunt by marriage and also my dear old friend whom I loved to visit when I went home from Sydney over 47 years away. A cup of tea with Eileen was usually a Royal Doulton Tea party. We had some wonderful chats about Windles, Hollands, Lawlors and many tales of her nursing days, war memories and life in general. I shall cherish her wit and wisdom. Much loved by us all.
Brendan nailed it when he said" Heaven will become a well-oiled machine." RIP. Eileen.

We had a good two hour visit with Eileen two years ago she was so entertaining Di and I were amazed at her memory of everything,So to our Windle cousins,we Holland's send our thoughts symphony to you all God bless such a lovely lady in everyway ....

Dearest Eileen played a big part in our family be-it visits, holidays and even "babysitting" with Eileen Goodger on occasions...family loved them being there. Always a great support when in need.
