Maureen and Family, our thoughts are with you and we join you in spirit to say goodbye to an old friend. When I first moved to Invercargill an Aunt I stayed with worked with Alan and thought he would be a good friend to know. I was asked to stay with the Cross family for Easter and was there for over three years! Discovered Mrs Cross had met Alan's father at Greenvale Boarding House on Stewart Island, where she had worked, a property my parents had just bought. I was teated as one of the family, many great memories.
