Passed away peacefully at Gore Hospital, on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, aged 90 years. Much loved husband of Anne. Dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Carmel and Ian. Adored Grandad of Jess, and Lachlan, and loved great-Grandad of Octavia, and Maeve. Loved son of Francis* and Peggy*. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Monica*, Geordie*, Bas*, Ray* and Margaret, Mary* and Eddie*, Joan* and Martin*, Lois* and Fran*, Colleen* and Richard*, Judy* and Bern*, Martha* and John, Colleen and Ray, and much loved Uncle to many.

"Forever In Our Hearts"

A Requiem Mass to celebrate Eddie's life will be held at The Church Of The Blessed Sacrament, Ardwick Street, Gore, on Tuesday, March 3, at 1.00pm, followed by light refreshments, private interment to follow. Rosary will be held on Monday, March 2, at 6.00pm. Donations may be left at the service for Hokonui St John. A special thank you to Gore Hospital for their wonderful care of Ted.
