I have the greatest respect for a wonderful man Ted Maloney , who I had the honour to have him support myself and 5 young children on returning to Invercargill after a difficult time. Ted through St Vincent de Paul. He freely gave total support for my wee family.
He always had a smile on his face and made us all comfortable in his presence.
May he now met up with his friends and family in heaven.

Ted was a big part of our lives when we were children so long ago.
He started as the accountant at A C Millar´s in 1950 and later became a director until the sale to Goodman, Fielder in 1982.
How tolerant he was when 4 or 5 Millar girls at any one time, would call into the office to twirl on my father´s chair and check out the drawers for blackballs - great memories of happier times.
A true and gentle man.
Our love and deepest sympathy to you all.

RIP dear Ted.
