260771 Sgt 18th Armoured Regiment 2NZEF. At Lakes District Hospital, on Thursday, July 22, 2021, in his 101st year. Loved husband of Margaret, loved father and father-in-law of Duncan and Jan (Queenstown), Keith and Glenys (Clyde), and much loved grandfather and great-grandfather of Sarah, Peter, William and Nick; Victoria, Shane, Charlotte, and Sam; Elizabeth, and Olivia; Christopher, Tracy, and Emily (San Francisco); Nicola, Stephen and Olivia (Perth). At Duncan's request a private cremation has been held. Many thanks to the staff at Lakes District Hospital for their outstanding care of Duncan. Messages to 26 Shields Street, Clyde 9330.

From a young British army veteran who read your amazing story on the news. Thank you for your service Sgt Robertson. A true hero, I have the utmost respect for your sacrifices and the hardships you went through in WW2. My condolences to your family.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn, At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them.
