Peacefully with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, aged 88 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Denny Hoffman and Frank Knowler. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Francis, Suzanne and John, Kevin and Margaret, Rosemary and Shane, Helen and Michael, Paul, Martin and Jude, Phillip and Suzanne, Jacinta and Paul, and Raymond*. Adored Grandma of Michael, Stacey, Elisha, Allison, Andrea, Sarah, Rachel, Joanna, Bernice, Stephanie, Logan, Emma, Priscilla, Tresha, Shakira and a loved Great-Grandma of Lilli, Briley, Blake, Harrison, Connor, Carly, Faith, Sam, Megan, Theo, Annabelle, Ella, Charles, Arthur, Edward, and Kyden. A Requiem Mass to celebrate the life of Doreen, will be held in the St Thérèse of Lisieux Catholic Church, 40 Perth Street, Windsor, Invercargill, on Saturday, January 24 at 10.00am. The Rosary will be recited today, Friday, January 23 at 7.30pm. To all the family members of Doreen .
On behalf of the Clarkson families we are sorry to hear of your lost of your Mum.
Doreen was a lovely lady with a caring heart.
My Mum Jenny Clarkson ( who passed away to) use to visit Doreen and ring her mum talked highly of her Over the years .
I remember as a kid my Parents Bob and Jenny would visit your parents on the pig farm in Greenhills,
Again so sorry for your loss .
But I know as a family you will stand strong, and support each other sending love and thoughts to you all.
