Donald Supina Obituary
Donald Michael Supina, 89 years old, died peacefully on November 7, 2024, at the Embassy of Painesville nursing home, Painesville, Ohio, where he had been residing for the last 11 years.
Donnie was born to Michael and Josephine Supina on August 13th, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio. The family moved to Ashtabula, Ohio, when he was six years old. An Ashtabula High School graduate, he lived in Ashtabula, Ohio most of his life. He married Carol Stewart on December 24, 1969. They remained married for 31 years and had two children, Andrew, and Annette. Carol died in 2000 after a long illness.
Don worked at Iten Fiber, and Ashtabula Bow Socket until it closed. He was a member of the Ashtabula and Painesville Congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses. Don loved his God, Jehovah, enjoyed reading the Bible, and sharing his wonderful hope for the future.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Carol. Donald is survived by his two children, Andrew, and Annette; four grandchildren, Ashlyn, Anevay, Zachary, and Morgan; four great-grandchildren; siblings Janet Funk (Richard), Margaret Pereira (David), and Marie Bly (James); and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 4:00 at the Painesville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 340 River St., Grand River, Ohio 44045. Officiating will be Brian Gatewood. There will be no calling hours.
