Donald PHILLIPPS Obituary

On Sunday October 5, 2025, at Dunedin Hospital; in his 93rd year. Much loved husband of the late Barbara, cherished younger son of Jack* and Freda* Phillipps, and son-in-law of Ian* and Marjorie* Laurenson. Loved brother of John Phillipps* and brother-in-law of Frances Pentelow. Beloved father and father-in-law of Sara and Paul Barham, Martin Phillipps*, and Rachel and Richard Devereux. Much loved Grandad of Gabrielle, Oliver, Timothy, Kate, Rachel and Nicholas, and great-granddad of Zia.
"So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love."
A Service for Donald will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, at 11.00am on Saturday, October 11, followed by interment at Ōtakou Marae. In lieu of flowers, donations for Orokonui Ecosanctuary or The Royal Albatross Centre (Otago Peninsula Trust) would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Sara and Rachel i have many good memories of your father.
The Phillipps family and my Parents (Malcolm and Jean Rickard and my grandparents Harry and Meg Moston) were good friends .
It is hard to loose a parent
Love to both of you and your parents.
