FERGUSON,Donald Angus (Don) (Ferg):
Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Hospice Southland, on Saturday, October 16, 2021, aged 78 years. Dearly loved husband of Susan (Sue). Loving father and stepfather of Alasdair and Dawn Ferguson (England), Andrew and Lynette Conner (Invercargill), Diane and Sena DeThabrew (England), Shirley and Adin Geeson (Rakaia). Loving Grandad of James Ferguson, Ryan, Stephanie and Jarrod Geeson, Quinten and Andre Keen. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Robert (Bob) Ferguson and the late Marion, and uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Donations to Hospice Southland would be greatly appreciated and can be left at the service. Family wish to sincerely thank Dr Sandra Rhind, Southland District Nursing Staff, Wound Clinic girls, 4C Dunedin Hospital, and Hospice Southland Staff, for their dedicated and loving care of Don. A Memorial Service for Don will be held TODAY Wednesday, October 20, 2021, 1.30pm, at J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. A good friend from South School, Tweedsmuir Intermediate and Southland Technical College days, to workmate at Makarewa Freezing Works.
I will miss your ever cheerful presence, (from running into you doing the gardens at Lands End, or fixing something at the Food Plaza), but you will always be in my thoughts.

So sorry to hear of "Toots" passing. A loved family friend of ours since back in the Makarewa Freezing works days. He always had a lovely smile when ever we bumped into each other. My sincerest condolences to Susan and family.
