Diane LAWLOR Obituary

Hello there Brendan. I just happened to spot Dianes death acknowledgment in a recent ODT and i was so shocked to read of her passing and presumed it was somewhat sudden and then to also read of your sons sudden passing too so i can just presume your very sad time. Wayne and i now live in Auckland to be closer to the kids and grandies. So far enjoying it. Living in a retirement village. Cheers and deepest sympathy from Wayne and Mary ex Clyde and Neil and Rita Auckland.

Our love and thoughts are with you all with the passing of Diane.I shall miss talking over the fence and seeing her busy with the family

Shocked and saddened to read of Diane's passing. The first thing that sprang to mind was great fun times associated with St Peter's College, Gore including an amazing Sports Tour to Brisbane and the Gold Coast. I can't remember exactly which of the family were there but I'm pretty sure it was Chris, Andrew, Mark and maybe Jenny too. (for Hockey) The second memory is of a generous, clever, caring and capable Mum who encouraged each of you to flourish in your own individual ways and spoke of each of you and your children with deep love and pride every time I ran into her. Sending you huge virtual hugs, Brendan.

I used to work in BNZ Gore in the late 1960's. Diane was, if my memory serves me, a valuable staff member at Grant's Chemist. I remember The Lawlor Family who were a farming family - I came from a similar background in Crookston. I worked with Bernadine who was the youngest sibling of Diane's husband. Where have all the decades gone. My condolences to The Family.

I am very saddened to read of Diane´s passing. Even thogh I only really knew her through business, she (and Brendan) were always kind to me and I enjoyed your company. Deepest sympathies to Brendan and Chris and the wider family.
