DIANA KING Obituary

KING, DIANA CATHERINE Diana left on her final journey on August 17, 2022, after a lifetime of journeys. She was born in Nottingham, England to Anne and Carl King. She leaves her sister, Jane; loving cousins; and friend, Carol. The family soon moved to Kent where she went to school and subsequently worked as an administrator at the University of London. In 1966, she decided to tour the world with her chums. First stop – and final stop – was Canada. She worked at the University of Toronto and spent most of her years, until retirement, at University College. After retirement, she spent time doing what she loved – working with books – for which she received an Arbor Award. Her retirement also gave her the opportunity to continue travelling often and widely with her friend, Carol, and that brought great pleasure. A Memorial Service will be held at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church, 1585 Yonge Street, on Thursday, August 25th at 1:00 p.m. Please give generously to your favourite charity in her memory.
