Passed away peacefully, at CHT St Margarets, in his 91st year. Loved father and father-in-law of Greg and Sue, Anthony and Viv, and the late Phillip. Adored granddad of Natalie and Chris, Jesse and Steph, Andrea, and Cory. Cherished great-granddad of Matilda and Oliver. Close companion of Therese for many years. A private cremation has been held.

Sorry to hear of his passing. Des was a senior manager at Commercial Union when I started as a claims assessor oh so long ago.
He was a real peoples person & could always be relied on for good advice.
