Derek TUCK Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Windsor Park, Gore, on Thursday, October 19, 2023. In his 90th year. Late of Taumarunui and Feilding. Dearly loved husband and companion of Jennifer for 68 years. Dearly loved father of Roger and Julie, Philippa and Selwyn, Deborah and Peter, and Jeremy and Phoebe. Loved Poppa of Louise and Sam, Katie and Rueben, Sam, Aidan and Alice, Reece and Alana, Paige and Rob, Jess and Jarrah, Roxy and Richard, Geordie and Lauren, Elliot, Luke, Mitchell and Laura, Ella and Caleb, and 13 great-grandchildren. Thank you to the staff at Winsor Park for their care of Derek over the past 3 years. In accordance with Derek's wishes a private celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Bought stock from him in Taumaranui and worked with Derek when in Taihape then Feilding. A well respected person with many contacts in the farming sector.
He will be remembered for the many hours he spent supporting the Manawatu hospice.

Sorry to read of the passing of Derek I spent many years working under Derek at Wrightsons Feilding I had fond memories of some fishing at Kuratau where I know Derek had many joyful hours
I can´t go without mentioning the tremendous job Derek did for the hospice in Palmerston North
