I am very sad to read of Dennis passing. I have been away for three weeks and was catching up on the Southland death notices when l got. Dennis used to walk past our place just before 10am each morning. Sometimes l walked with him for a short distance, on my way to my walk group at South Alive, on a Friday. Dennis took wonderful care of my wee pomeranian when l put him in the kennels at the SPCA. Condolences to Sharyn and Jayson.

A neighbour and school friend from all those years ago.It was lovely to see him on his walks and to stop and chat about times past.I will miss that smiling face and the delight he had in reminiscing.Walk on Dennis until we meet again

To my good friend Dennis, you fought a brave battle, I'm so humbled and lucky to have worked with you for many years to the point that we became family. You and Sharyn were there for all my milestones including being best man at my wedding. It was a privilege to be with you and Sharyn in your final days.
Sleep well and catch you later.
Love Byron and Audrey
