HIGGS, Dennis James:
Of Chatsford, Mosgiel. On 26 December 2014, at Wollongong, NSW, while on vacation in Australia, surrounded by family, aged 81 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Marj for 58 years. Loving and devoted father of Stephen and Gail Higgs (Mosgiel); Gillian and Martin North (Thirroul, NSW); Jocelyn and Paul Johnstone (Gore); and Trudy and Grant Buchanan (Melbourne). Dearly loved grandfather of Andrew and Jo; Simon; Naomi and Stefan; Aaron and Laura; Samuel, Joel and Zachary; and loved great-grandfather of Polly and Rosie. A private family cremation will be held in Australia with a Thanksgiving Service to celebrate Dennis' life to be held at Caversham Baptist Church, Dunedin, on Wednesday 7th January, at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: The Union Bible Institute (UBI), South Africa, c/- Caversham Baptist Church, PO Box 3029, Caversham, Dunedin.
